I had recently seen this place and thought it looked fun. I didn’t realize how new it was as it just opened in January 2025. It was significantly more enjoyable than I expected! I have been ax throwing at two different other places and they were fun. In fact, they were fun enough for me to want to do it again. However, now that I have experienced ax throwing at Axe Mania, I have been truly spoiled. You won’t want to go anywhere else. This is a totally different experience. You’re not just throwing at a wooden target here. The owner has installed a high speed projection and camera system that turns simple axe-throwing into a more high-tech interactive experience. If you want your kids to do something other than look at their phones, bring them here. The projection system displays electronic games that interact with where the ax lands. So rather than throwing an ax at a bull’s-eye wooden target, you can play battleship, big game hunter, tic tac toe, marking your spot by where your ax lands on the physical target. And in these games, when you hit the thing you’re aiming at there’s a big animation on the screen showing the outcome of your throw. And of course, all the scoring is electronic and automated. It also comes with the ability for you to correct it. The owner, Todd, is gregarious, friendly, and helpful. He spent time training us on how to throw the axes and how to interact with the system, in addition to engaging in friendly conversation. Also, he plays great music in the background (think 80s). He says that all of the decor on the walls has a story behind it and I believe him! I’ve included some pictures for you to get an idea of the feel of the place. I am already going back on Friday night to take some of my other kids. He also sells beverages for you to enjoy including waters, cokes, teas, and beers. You will not go wrong by spending an evening here - I highly recommend it. When you visit keep an eye out for the 1949 cherry red pick up in the parking lot, that will be your key to knowing that the owner is there. As you walk in the front door, take note of the prayer wall on the left and leave a prayer request if you have one. Also notice the track-used AJ Foyt racing tire. Then, turn to your right and see the stuffed bear. I forget his name, but if you ask the owner, be sure he tells you why the bear is missing a toe! Great service, friendly atmosphere and just plain old good time. Had so much fun throwing axes and playing Galaga, pinball on free play. Definitely not like your typical axe throwing experience where you lose interest quickly.The electronic scoring makes it so much more entertaining, not too mention the option of using your photos uploaded as a target...had so much fun throwing at my friend's photo and watching it highlight when hit.
