What Does a Session at Axe-Mania Actually Include?
The rates above are per person, and they cover everything you need to start throwing. A coach gets your group set up, walks the whole lane through grip, stance and release, and stays close by until everybody is landing steel. There is no separate coaching fee, no equipment rental line, and no add-on for the digital scoring.
Every lane is one of our nine high-tech projected lanes, so the target is on the screen rather than painted on a board. That is what lets one lane run more than eighteen different game modes instead of one repetitive bullseye round. Tic-tac-toe, zombie defense, a straight tournament ladder, all on the same lane, all included in what you already paid.
Up to five throwers share a lane, so the practical way to read the rate is per person with a group of friends standing around you. Bring four people and you have one lane. Bring twelve and we will set you up across three. If your group is bigger than that, the large party booking form is the faster route.

Should You Book One Hour Or Two?
One hour suits a couple, a quick stop before dinner, or a first visit where you want to find out whether axe throwing is your thing. It is enough time for the safety briefing, a warm-up and a few real rounds.
Two hours is the better call for anything that is actually an occasion. Groups spend the first twenty minutes learning and the rest of the time competing, and the two-hour slot is where the tournament brackets and the trash talk get room to breathe. Every birthday party and corporate team event we host runs long rather than short, and nobody has ever asked us for less time.

Date Night
Two throwers, one lane, one hour. Cheaper than dinner and a movie and considerably more memorable. The lounge has beer and wine when you are done.
Birthday Parties

Do Prices Change If You Are Driving In From Out Of Town?
No. The rate is the rate whether you live two streets away in Kingwood or you are coming over from Humble, Atascocita, Porter, New Caney, Spring or Splendora. We are on HWY 59 N, which puts most of the Lake Houston area inside a twenty-minute drive and keeps us an easy run from north Houston.

How much does axe throwing cost at Axe-Mania?
Current per-person rates for both the one-hour and two-hour sessions are shown in the table at the top of this page. We keep the live figures there rather than in the copy so you are never reading a number that has gone out of date.
Is the price per person or per lane?
Per person. Up to five throwers share a lane, so a group of five pays five times the per-person rate and gets one lane between them.
How many people can share one lane?
Five. With nine lanes in the building we can run up to forty-five throwers at once, which is why larger groups tend to book here.
Do you have group rates for large parties?
For bigger groups and private events we quote on the specifics, because the answer depends on how many lanes you need and for how long. Send the details through the large party booking form and we will come back with the numbers.
What is the minimum age to throw?
Eight years old. Every thrower signs a release waiver first, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign for them.
Do I need to book ahead or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome when lanes are free, but weekends fill up and Saturday afternoons are the busiest stretch of the week. Booking ahead is the only way to guarantee a lane at a particular time.
Is there anything extra to pay once we arrive?
Not for throwing. Coaching, gear, game modes and scoring are all part of the session rate. Beer, wine, snacks and the arcade are separate if you want them.
