What Do First-Time Axe Throwers Say?
Most people walk in having never thrown an axe. Staff walk every group through the rules and safety basics before the first throw, so the thrill starts with your very first shot at a bullseye. These reviews are from guests who were exactly where you might be right now.
“It was my first time throwing axes ever and I was pretty nervous, Todd the owner is a great teacher and has a great personality so that helped me have fun while getting the hang of it. Will definitely be coming back.”
Kyleigh R., Google review
“We were first timers and he explained the techniques well and was patient with us the entire time, even came to the rescue when we couldn’t get a point on the board. The bathrooms are clean and full of personality.”
Tee D., Google review

Reviews From Birthday Parties At Axe-Mania
Birthdays are one of the most common reasons people find us, and the reviews show why: everyone throws, everyone gets coached, and nobody sits on the sidelines.
“We recently celebrated my son’s 24th birthday there, and it was an unforgettable experience. Todd and Christy, along with their talented daughter, Taylor, go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels included and successful.”
Lola G., Google review

Reviews From Team Building And Company Events
Office outings, holiday parties and networking nights all show up in our reviews. The common thread is a group of coworkers who did not expect a friendly challenge to get that competitive. It is also why so many group events end with a rematch on the calendar.
“We brought a small team for a team building and had such a great time! Most were first-timers, but before we were done, everyone had some private coaching and was throwing like a pro.”
Jeanna H., Google review
“My company went for a team-building evening. Had a great time. Ownership/management were extremely helpful and kind. Establishment was clean and pleasant… An excellent evening that my team all enjoyed.”
Adam T., Google review
“Just hosted our company teambuilding event at Axe-mania and they did not disappoint! They took great care of us and made sure we were never thirsty.”
Kim T., Google review
“My workplace decided to have our Christmas celebration here, and honestly, it was the best idea ever. I had so much fun, even though my aim wasn’t great, haha.”
Sofia P., Google review

How Do We Handle Our Reviews?
Axe-Mania is family owned and run by Todd and Christi Byers, and the family reads every review that comes in. When we checked our 50 newest Google reviews in late September, the owners had replied to 49 of them.
Good or bad, a review tells us what your night was actually like, and it helps the next family in Kingwood or Humble decide where to spend their Saturday. If you have thrown with us, we would love to hear how it went. Our reputation is built one lane at a time, and every testimonial on this page is a guest who took a minute to tell others about the service they got.
